Google has released Picasa Beta for the Mac. Finally, no more dealing with iPhoto's absolutely sluggish performance, even on the highest-end Quad-Core Intel Mac. Scrolling through iPhoto is like trying to pour molases out of a jar. This will mean even greater photo management for organizing documentaries, photo montages, and even just your family albums.

This is awesome, I used to use Picasa on the PC and it was great! Now, what about workflow of getting my photos out of iphoto and over to Picasa? My library is huge because of the way iPhoto makes a copy of ever photo whenever you make even a minor edit to it!
