Apple hasn't sent me any info on re-certification of FCP6 to FCP7. Has anyone else been contacted on this? I just want to make sure Im not out of the loop of what is going on. ThankS!

I guess I'm not sure what you mean. All you need to do is go to Apple's website and order the upgrade and then load it on. If you have FCS 2 loaded on then it just replaces and upgrades the elements it needs to. The box is comes in is amazingly small, I've been runnning it for about a week and it runs great.

Just change it to UPGRADE rather then FULL version.

Thank you for your response but I was not talking about the actual software upgrade but about the certification for Final Cut Pro. I am certified in FCP6 and I was wondering if anyone else has been emailed about the process apple wants us to go through to re-certify for FCP7. But again thank you for your help.

Hopefully you received yours, I got mine. The question is whether it's worth it to pay every time they level up, when the first certification reasonably assures your aptitude, but doesn't help you get work. I'm trying to weigh my options right now on that subject.
