What are your work-flows for converting .MOV to .FLV or any other supported FCP output to a flash movie? I have looked into several freeware applications and for the size of movie file I'm dealing with (5.6 GB) it appears none of them work. I'm somewhat new to all of this however so go easy on me.

Do you have the Adobe suite? THe best way is to use the Adobe Media Encoder.

I actually have a friend who sent me a copy of an old discontinued program called VisualHub that does the conversion.

Since you have FCP why not use compressor to encode in h.264? this will play in the flash player.

Good point Viz...the extension just needs to be changed to .f4v
