Anyone want to share their secrets for having perfect (near to perfect) look of slow motion in FCP?

Overcrank your camera is the best. Or use motion and opticflow to get the best Slo-mo.

Overcranking, or shooting more frames per second than 24 or 30 is your best bet. But you can also use Optical Flow in Apple's motion, or you can upconvert via compressor, then conform footage in Cinema Tools to 24 or 30p, results vary...proceed at your own risk of wild experimentation.

you can do what these guys have said (which i would recommend)

or you can check out a plugin for FCP called Twixtor.

It does a really good job at proper frame interpolation, so your slow-mo will look smooth, even though you didn't shoot it at an overcranked speed.
