6 angles, over 20 hours of content per event. I know multiclips would work except each camera isn't one continuous file. The footage is broken up into about 14 minutes per file: mikealger.com/content/timeline.png

Is my only option to use the blade to chop down to the angle I want? It's seeming like it to me, but any suggestions for fast editing options would be appreciated.

Did you sync up all cameras at the beginning with a clap or something? That is one way to start. If the camera stopped during the event, you will need to sync them up manually on the time line. After this is done, I think you can sync the time line for a multiclip. I will need to research further.

OK, I think I have an answer.

1. Duplicate current sequence in case something goes wrong. Work on the duplicate.
2. Fill in all gaps with slugs.
3. Nest each track and give it a name.
4. You should have 6 nested tracks. Drag them in browser.
5. Select each nested track in Browser and select make multiclip from menu.
6. make multiclip using in point.

Try this and see if this works. I have not tried in myself but in theory it should work. And remember to make a duplicate of the sequence. I would hate to mess up all the manual syncing you did.

I'm curious if this worked out as TheViz08 has laid out...

I tried the nesting solution but the "make multiclip" options are non-selectable. It does seem like it might work, but I think it isn't because the browser sees the nested clips as sequences themselves rather than footage.

I've got my razor blade out. (...the software one)

well that did not work. Try exporting your tracks seperatly first and then follow the process. This should work but will take awhile.
