Just as an FYI we've been using an ipad for slating lately, using imovieslate, and it has worked out really well. It let's you make notes on oyur takes and circle takes, etc. and then e-mail the notes back to your producer/editor for editing. It is have been a dream to work with.

Do you have some urls of both those products you could post here? I'd like to read about them in more detail.

I like this one, haven't tried it but like the idea of synced time code.
