We are putting together our meeting for the DSLR workflow within Final Cut Pro. Before we create the final presentation we wanted to get some feedback on what you'd like to learn from the meeting. We are thinking of covering basic FCP workflow from footage shot with the Canon 7D and 5D. What are your thoughts. We have the date set for Thursday March 25, 2010. More details to come.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

This is great. I still think this is a new concept and would love to understand what the cameras can and can't do. For example, what about zooming in and focusing and then zooming out like you would with a video camera. Is the work around easy. Can you do a rack focus. I guess I'm getting at what are the strengths and weakness of shooting with a still camera as opposed to a video camera.

Also in what situations does this camera excel. Is it better locked down or can you run and gun with it. I guess I am looking for is a work-flow of the camera and work-flow into FCP.
