I just updated my Macbook Pro (hooray!!!) but I have a small problem. I was trying to re-install Final Cut Studio 2, and I am getting a message that my Audio Content 1 disc is corrupt. I need to get this thing loaded up. Does anyone have just that single disc that I can borrow? I'm not trying to pirate software or anything like that. I'll even show you the disc if it makes you feel better about it. I have no idea what the problem is. There isn't a scratch on the thing. I have only ever taken it out of the package one time before this. If anyone could help me out on this, I'd really appreciate it.

Can you post a screen shot of the error?

I would try the disc in multiple drives, even on a PC, and then from the PC see if you can duplicate the disc onto a DVD-R. I've had bad discs multiple times and have usually been able to find a PC that would either copy it off to another disc. That disc would then work in my Mac.

If that doesn't work, I'm sure someone at the next meeting can hook you up with a disc that works.
