I recently shot on my EX3 HQ 1080 30P with 1/60 shutter. The QTs look good. When I view a test SD DVD on my 42 in Plasma there is alot of artifacting and noise in the picture. Other SD DVDs on the same Plasma look fine. I have tried numerous settings on the FCP timeline-bringing in with native settings and many other methods, I have also tried many settings in compressor and Sorenson Squeeze.
Does anyone have this problem licked?

What are your compression settings in DVD studio pro or compressor, however it is you compress the mpeg 2?
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

Are the other SD DVDs that look good from the same camera and settings? What is the resolution plasma set at? Can you send a screen shot of your settings in compressor and sequence settings in FCS?
