OK, I have looked at tutorials of FCPX. I think it is pretty impressive. In fact I think it does a better job than the legacy application. Sure it is still missing some key features but with the resent update from Apple this app. will improve. After watching the comparisons between Avid and FCPX I believe it comes on top because of the close integration with Motion. Publishing to FCX looks awesome. I think the iMovieisk UI will grow on me. With the recent update with multi-cam, 7toX and others it is looking pretty good. Now I just need a compatible graphics card. Anybody have a 5770 they want to give me?

p.s. It really does not matter what app you have, it is the creative mind that will make it look great.

Any tips on boosting audio levels with the Zoom H4n? I have an Audio Technica AT897 connected via an XLR cable into the Zoom. I've tried both using both phantom power and a battery, as well as playing with the mono mix. I have my levels set all the way up to 100 and the meters still only hover around -24 dB with the mic 3-4 feet from the subject who is talking normally.

Any suggestions or ideas?
