Has anyone found a sweet spot for compressing 1080p footage for upload to YouTube? I've tried playing with and modifying the Apple HD TV setting (1280x720) but was wondering if anyone else has had luck with custom settings. Even though 1080p doesn't play very well on YouTube, it's at least nice to upload the highest res version of your video so that the compression YouTube does for it's other versions comes from the highest quality output you can upload. It also semi-future proofs your video for future compression changes YouTube may implement.
